Kingston without question is one of the most recognizable names in the Caribbean and as one of the Caribbean’s’ most infamous capital cities that brought us the likes of Bob Marley and pirates, it does indeed stir up the imagination and provides inspiration for some memorable moments and creations.
Thanks to our friend over at Woodwork here in downtown Edmonton and Appleton Estate Rum, we have one of those memorable creations for Cariwest 2018. I give you Kingston Parish.
What do you need?
• 1.5oz Appleton 12 year
• 0.5oz Wild Turkey Rare Breed
• 0.75oz Cynar
• 0.25oz Banana Du Brasil
• Pinch of salt
Putting it all together is supper simple. Just stir all ingredients over ice. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with orange twist.
To borrow a phrase for The Tipsy Bartender… “And There You Have It”… now grab your glass, turn up some Beres Hamond and remember to feel good for the summer.
